D.A.V. Ispat Public School is situated at Nandini Mines Dist – Durg, Chhattisgarh, just 30 K.M. from the nearest Railway Station of Durg and 30 K.M. from the state capital, Raipur. It is only 17 K.M. from the world famous Bhilai Steel Plant, a venture of Steel Authority of India Limited.It lies in the idyllic lap of nature presenting a peaceful scenic beauty all around. The school started functioning on 8th May 2008, after a M.O.U Between, D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi and Steel Education Society, Bhilai Steel Plant, to impart quality based education blended with Vedic Culture, so as to equip the children to meet all future challenges.Our aim is to provide a conducive atmosphere for mental, physical and academic enrichment of the children. Wherein they will develop a modern outlook and scientific temperament, without compromising on human and moral values.We strive to nurture our students, in a way that they would prove to be an asset to the society.

The school though situated in a Mines Area, has an impressive infrastructure which provides all facilities and unique atmosphere for result oriented teaching-learning environment. It is an English Medium Co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), up to Senior Secondary level.The school has well equipped state of the art Physics, Chemistry, Biology and IP Labs along with the rich library having more than 5000 books.
